- The limid Solid-State Lithium Battery Series replaces the liquid electrolyte of a conventional Li-ion cell with a solid-state electrolyte. The result is a pack that stores more energy per kilogram, resists leakage and combustion, and keeps working where ordinary lithium packs would be pushed to their limits.
- The series is offered in six density tiers — 275, 300, 320, 340, 360 and 400 Wh/kg — all above conventional liquid-electrolyte lithium batteries. For a given payload or battery bay, that translates directly into longer flight time, longer shifts and fewer swaps.
- Because the solid-state electrolyte carries no flammable liquid solvent, the risk of leakage and combustion is greatly reduced. Safety is improved not by added electronics alone, but by the cell chemistry itself — in charging, in storage and in transport.
- A longer cycle life per pack means fewer replacements over the life of the equipment. For fleet operators and OEM programmes, that lowers total cost of ownership and reduces the downtime spent on pack changes.
- The chemistry accepts charge rates of 0.5C to 2C, shortening the time a pack spends on the charger. Combined with 10C peak discharge, it supports duty cycles where the pack is worked hard and returned to service quickly.
- Solid-state cells tolerate a wider operating temperature window than liquid-electrolyte packs, holding their output in cold, hot and otherwise demanding environments where conventional batteries derate or shut down.
- Suited to long-endurance UAVs, robotics and AGVs, e-mobility platforms, marine and outdoor equipment, backup power, and any application where weight, safety or operating temperature is the limiting factor.
- Capacity, cell configuration, C-rate, connector type, wire length, enclosure and pack graphics can be tailored to your platform and brand, with samples and volume production available.
